Looking for a calm, authentic experience at sea? The Alanya fishing trip takes you out on a local fishing boat with an experienced captain who knows the best spots along the coast. A modern fish finder helps locate the fish, and all rods, bait and tackle are provided – no licence and no experience needed. Beginners get a quick introduction, experienced anglers simply cast and enjoy.

What to expect

After hotel pickup you board the boat and head to the first fishing grounds. Between fishing sessions there is time for a swim in beautiful Fuğla Bay, and with a little luck you may even see dolphins. Lunch is prepared fresh on board – grilled fish or chicken with salad and rice – and soft drinks are included. You can take your catch home or ask the crew how best to prepare it.

Please keep your expectations realistic: in the Alanya region you mostly catch smaller Mediterranean fish, and really big fish are rare. For anglers who want more, we organise deep-sea fishing trips for small groups of 4–5 people on request.

Good to know

  • Two departures daily: morning (pickup around 08:30) and afternoon (around 13:30)
  • Toilet and shower on board
  • Snorkelling gear is not provided – bring your own if you like
  • Ideal for couples, friends and older children who enjoy fishing

Prefer more action on the water? Combine your holiday with a pirate boat trip or rent a private boat for your group.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need experience or a fishing licence?

No. All equipment is provided, no licence is required, and the crew explains everything to beginners.

What kind of fish can we catch?

Mostly smaller Mediterranean species such as sea bream and other reef fish. Large fish are rare in the region, so the trip is more about the experience than a record catch.

Can I keep the fish I catch?

Yes, you can take your catch with you. Ask the crew – they are happy to give tips on how to prepare it.

Is there a deep-sea fishing option?

Yes. On request we organise deep-sea fishing trips for small groups of 4–5 people at an extra charge. Contact us on WhatsApp for a quote.
