Rain, heat or simply a break from the beach – the Antalya Aquarium is a fascinating day out for the whole family. The huge complex in Konyaaltı is home to over 10,000 sea creatures and is famous for its 131-metre-long tunnel aquarium, one of the longest in the world, where sharks and rays glide over your head.
A journey through the oceans
Around 40 themed aquariums take you from the Mediterranean to tropical coral reefs and the Amazon. Watch sand tiger sharks in the deep-sea shark basin, piranhas and giant turtles in the rainforest river, glowing jellyfish and colourful reef fish. Touch pools and feeding presentations make the visit interactive, and the whole building is air-conditioned – perfect on a hot summer day.

Inside the complex you can also visit Snow World, the Ice Museum, the Wild Park with reptiles or the XD cinema for an extra fee. Cafés and restaurants serve snacks and lunch, and the gift shop is full of ocean-themed souvenirs.
