From Konakli to the dolphin pool
The Sealanya marine park is in Turkler, a few kilometres from Konakli along the coast. You can swim in the morning or in the afternoon; the usual pickup times for both sessions are in the table below, and we confirm your exact time after booking. Because the groups are small, summer dates go quickly – a deposit secures your place.
At the park you check in, change into your swimwear and sit down for a briefing: the instructor explains how the dolphins communicate, where you may touch them and how to behave in the water. Then, wearing a life jacket, you slip into the pool with a group of no more than eight people. For 15 to 20 minutes the dolphins swim alongside you, come up for a stroke and, with the trainer’s signals, show you a few of their favourite moves. Professional photographers capture the moments from the edge – the pictures can be bought afterwards. The whole outing takes about three hours from pickup to drop-off.
