On arrival a host welcomes the group, explains how the park cares for its animals and goes through a few simple safety rules.
The first stop is the lions: whole families rest in their enclosures, and with a bit of luck you hear one of the males roar. In the mini zoo the keepers then invite you to feed deer, raccoons, ostriches and other friendly residents – usually the moment children talk about for days. The park also takes in rescued animals, which vets check on regularly. Photos with young lions, monkeys or parrots and a short camel ride are offered on site for an extra fee.
