Want to see lions up close without spending a whole day on the road? The Zoo & Lion Park tour is a compact morning trip for families and animal lovers. After hotel pickup in an air-conditioned minibus you spend the morning in the Lion Park and its mini zoo, accompanied by a host who tells you about the animals and their care.
Lions, feeding time and more
After a welcome and safety briefing you visit the lion families and the other residents of the park. At feeding time you can hand-feed friendly animals such as deer, raccoons and ostriches under the keepers’ supervision – a highlight for children. The park also takes care of rescued animals, and veterinarians check on them regularly.
Optional extras
Photo sessions with young lions, monkeys or parrots and a short camel ride around the park are available on site for a small extra fee, paid in cash. There is also free time to explore at your own pace, visit the souvenir shop and enjoy the shaded rest areas before you return to your hotel around lunchtime.
