From Turkler into the sky above Alanya
For paragliding, our minibus collects you from hotels in Turkler at 10:00 and takes you along the coast road to Alanya. After registration and an equipment check at the paragliding station, a 4×4 jeep climbs to Yassı Tepe at 700 metres in about 20 minutes. Your pilot explains the take-off – usually just a few running steps – and checks your harness.
The flight lasts about 20 minutes: you glide over the castle and the red roofs of the old town, with the Taurus Mountains behind you and the turquoise sea ahead, and land on the golden sand of Cleopatra Beach. Your pilot films the flight with a camera on the wing; after landing you can watch the photos and video and buy them if you like. Then the minibus takes you back to Turkler – allow three to four hours in total.
