From Turkler to Manavgat and Side
We usually pick you up in Turkler around 09:30 – the exact time is confirmed after booking. From Turkler the coast road leads west to Manavgat, where the first stop is the Külliye Mosque, the largest mosque in Antalya province, with elegant domes and slender minarets on the bank of the river. Your guide explains its architecture and the traditions of mosque life.
In Side you walk through history with a licensed guide: the great Roman theatre, the colonnaded streets, the agora and the columns of the Temple of Apollo rising above the sea. After the one-hour walk you have about an hour of free time at the harbour, with cafés and shops in the narrow lanes of the old town. Lunch – chicken, pasta, rice and salad – is served at the Hidden Paradise restaurant. Then a short forest path leads to the waterfall, where you can swim in natural pools, cool off in the shade and listen to the water before the drive back to Turkler in the late afternoon.
