Because Avsallar lies west of Alanya, the drive to the canyon is shorter than from the town: after collecting guests in Incekum and Okurcalar, the minibus follows the D400 to Manavgat and turns north into the Köprüçay valley – around an hour and a half in total.
At the base you get your gear and a briefing, then the programme moves fast. First the zipline: harness on, clip in and glide across the Köprüçay. Next, about 25 minutes at the wheel of a buggy on the canyon tracks – two people share one and can swap halfway. After lunch at a riverside restaurant, an open-top cabrio bus climbs to a viewpoint above the gorge for photos. The finale is the rafting: roughly 14 km and two hours of rapids and calm pools where you can jump in and swim. Back at the base the team shows the pictures they took, and in the evening you are dropped off in Avsallar again.
