From Avsallar to the dive boat
We confirm your exact pickup time after booking. The minibus takes you to the harbour, where you register, fill in a short health questionnaire and are fitted with a wetsuit, mask and fins. Once the boat casts off, the instructors explain the theory and safety rules on deck.
The day includes two dives at different spots along the coast, chosen according to the sea conditions and the level of the group. If you have never dived before, your instructor stays right beside you: first you practise breathing through the regulator and equalising your ears in shallow water, then you swim together along the rocks. Certified divers go down in small groups with a dive guide, at depths that match their experience. Look out for octopus hiding in crevices, groupers and shoals of small fish. Between the two dives there is lunch on board and time to swim or sunbathe. In the afternoon the boat returns to the harbour and the minibus takes you back to Avsallar.
Health and safety
- Do not dive with a cold, ear or sinus problems, heart or lung conditions, epilepsy or during pregnancy.
- Plan your flight home at least 24 hours after your last dive.
- Certified divers should bring their card or logbook.
- Drinks and underwater photos are not included – bring some cash.
