From Konakli to the dive boat
The minibus collects you in the morning – we confirm the exact time after booking – and drives you to the harbour where the dive boat is moored. On arrival the team checks you in, asks a few health questions on a short form and finds a wetsuit, mask and fins in your size. During the crossing an instructor goes through the theory and the safety rules.
Two dives are planned at different spots along the coast. First-timers need no licence: your instructor keeps you close, starts with breathing and ear-clearing exercises in the shallows and then leads you gently along the rocky seabed. Divers with a certification head out in small teams behind a local guide, as deep as their training allows. Groupers, octopus, moray eels and shoals of bream are regular sightings. Between the dives there is lunch on board and time to swim or sunbathe, and in the afternoon the boat heads back to port before the minibus takes you home to Konakli.
Health and packing tips
- Colds, blocked ears or sinuses, heart or lung conditions, epilepsy and pregnancy all rule out diving that day.
- Leave a full day between your last dive and your flight home.
- Bring your certification card or logbook if you have one.

Can I dive without a certificate?
Absolutely – the introductory dive is made for that. An instructor is with you from the first breath until you surface; good health and feeling at ease in the sea are all you need.
From what age can children dive?
From the age of 10, with an instructor. Younger children ride along at the child rate and can swim or snorkel from the boat – just let us know their ages.
Can a non-diving partner come along?
Yes – non-divers pay a reduced price and spend the day swimming, snorkelling or sunbathing on deck.
