From Avsallar into the Taurus foothills
We pick you up from your hotel in Avsallar and confirm the exact time after booking. With transfers, the outing lasts about four hours.
A buggy drives much like a small car: steering wheel, accelerator, brake and seat belts, all inside a sturdy roll cage. At the station the instructor goes through the controls and the convoy rules, and after a practice lap you set off behind the guide. For an hour and a half to two hours the route climbs gravel slopes, threads between the pines and fords the odd stream, with a stop at a viewpoint over the mountains for photos. Drive alone or share a double buggy – children are welcome as co-drivers, and many couples swap seats at the halfway break.
Useful to know
- Drivers need to be 18 or older; younger guests ride in the passenger seat.
- Bring water and sunscreen – the tracks have little shade.
- Sunglasses and a scarf over mouth and nose help against the dust.
- Not suitable during pregnancy or with back complaints.
Transfers from your hotel in Avsallar, the instructor and guide, the buggy with fuel, a helmet and insurance are included; you pay on the tour day. Want rafting and a zipline in the same day? See the rafting, buggy and zipline combo from Avsallar.
