From Avsallar to the dam
We confirm your exact pickup time after booking. The drive heads west along the coast and, after Manavgat, turns inland up the river valley to the harbour near the Oymapınar dam – from Avsallar it takes a little over an hour, with a photo stop high above the lake on arrival.
On board there are shaded decks, changing cabins, toilets and even showers, and soft drinks are unlimited all day. The first part of the cruise heads deep into the canyon, where pine-clad cliffs rise straight out of the water, and the boat stops so you can swim – the lake is noticeably cooler than the sea, a real relief in July and August. Lunch is served at a restaurant overlooking the lake: grilled fish or chicken, meatballs, salads and rice or pasta. Afterwards the crew hands out rods and tackle, and whoever likes can fish for a while; how the fish bite depends on the day. The last part of the cruise threads through the narrowest passages of the gorge before the boat returns to the harbour and the bus takes you back to Avsallar.
