From Avsallar to the ranch
We confirm your exact pickup time after booking. The transfer from Avsallar is free, and the minibus continues along the coast to collect riders in Incekum and Okurcalar before turning off to the ranch. Allow around four hours for the whole outing.
At the ranch you meet the horses and get a short introduction to riding: how to sit, steer and stop. The trainers choose a horse that suits your size and experience and fit you with a helmet. Then the group sets off with a guide on trails through the forest and up into the hills, with breaks for photos and, depending on the route, a chance to cool off with a short swim. Beginners stay at a relaxed walk, while experienced riders can ask for livelier stretches. Back at the ranch there is time to relax and look at the photos before the minibus brings you back to Avsallar.
Before you ride
- Long trousers and closed shoes are much more comfortable in the saddle than shorts and sandals.
- When booking, give us the age, height and riding experience of every rider.
- Sunset rides are popular – book a few days ahead.
- Drinks and photos are not included, so take a little cash.
