From Avsallar to the hamam
We pick you up from your hotel in Avsallar and confirm the exact time after booking. With the transfers, allow about three hours.
The ritual starts with warmth: first the sauna, then the steam room, until your skin is soft and your pores are open. Next you lie on the heated marble stone in the centre of the hamam while an attendant works over your skin with the kese, a coarse mitt that removes dead skin cells – many guests are amazed at how smooth their skin feels afterwards. Then come mountains of soap foam and a relaxing foam massage, followed by an oil massage that loosens tired shoulders and legs. You finish wrapped in a towel with a glass of Turkish tea in the rest area before the minibus takes you back to Avsallar.
